Personal Letter for the future

I want to change the world, I want to create the future and I want to inspire other people. For me, it doesn’t really matter what I do, as long as I am being part of something big. It could be working for Google, or Apple, or it could be something completely different like researching how to solve the upcoming crisis’s in medicine or agriculture.

Technology and programing are the topics which I want to learn more about and study right now. The evolution of data has grown proportionally the past decade and I want to be a part of the development of new technology. The one thing I worry the least about in the future is what I am going to work with. New jobs are being created every day, and we in the upcoming generation will have to change jobs and careers several times. I could never imagen myself in the same job for the rest of my life. Therefore, I’m looking forward to learning a lot throughout my life in different jobs and settings.

Even if it seems by now that my job and school is going to be my life, I assure you it will not. One of my biggest dream is to travel the world. I’ve already gotten a taste of it with my many journeys across Europe and Latin-Amerika as well as Nepal in Asia. In these places I’ve met a lot of different people who have taught me about their culture and the issues which they face every day. As well as learning about the differences in the world while traveling, I have learned more about myself as well.

I have learned that I care a lot about people, and I want to help everyone even if I know it’s impossible to do alone. Therefore, I know how important it is to be able to cooperate with other people and be able to use the recourses around you. This I have learned the hard way while producing and preforming different plays with a youth group. It is not a one man show, and everyone wants their ideas in the play. And a show is at its best when it’s a collaboration.

In the end I believe it is crucial to be able to adapt to change if you want to be successful in the future
